Setting tasks

How to set us tasks

Email contact@approviq.com and tell us what you want done. There's no form, no ticket system, and no particular format. A sentence is enough — if we need more, we'll ask. Actioned within one business day, usually faster.

What a good request looks like

  • On 14 Bourke Street — build document checks for the structural certificate item. Should confirm the engineer is CPEng registered.

  • Can you set up a project type for Class 1a new dwellings, based on the last few I've done?

  • Inspection done at 22 Ellis Road. Findings attached — can you produce the report?

You don't need to explain the background or justify the request. If it's admin inside ApprovIQ, it's ours.

Ongoing

Finishing

  • An approval pack assembled and issued

“Issue the approval pack for [project]”

Things people wonder about

Is this request too small?
No. Small and frequent is exactly what the service is for.
Am I sending too much?
This month is uncapped, deliberately. The approvers who get the most out of it hand over the jobs they'd been putting off.
What if I don't know what I want?
Describe the problem instead of the solution. 'I keep re-typing the same details into every certificate' is a perfectly good request.
Can someone else in my business send requests?
Yes — tell us who and we'll recognise them.
